Field Training OfficerProvide your newly selected Field Training Officers with the tools to lead, develop, and inspire your new hire law enforcement professionals to achieve the demands of your agency and community. Our creative 5 - day Field Training Officer Certification Program will provide your trainers with leadership skills, adult instruction methodology, and innovative approaches to make training stick in a one to one training environment. Our interactive, professional training program will inspire your trainers to develop the future of your agency. Who Should Attend: Any newly selected or experienced law enforcement officer, corrections officer, or dispatcher empowered to train agency members in a one to one training environment. No previous training experience is necessary. The 5-Day course starts at 8:00 am each day. Class is limited to 20 students. Per POST guidelines on attendance do apply. The class is funded through a grant from Colorado POST. Although it is free to individual students, POST has committed a substantial amount of funds to bring this class to this area.
